A bee suit and gloves are required for this event, along with a signed waiver.
About the Class:
- This is a hands-on event in the bee yard.
- It does not replace the beginners’ class, but rather lets you see what you learned in class in a hive and gives you some hands-on experience.
- We will open a hive, and Ray will show you how to handle frames, read a frame, inspect, do a mite test, mark a queen, install a package, etc.
- Questions and personal attention will be given to each student.
- Children age 10 and up are welcome.

Schedule:
- 10.30 -12 pm
- Subject to good weather, it will be rescheduled if it is raining or if the temperature is below 60 degrees.
