I planned to combine these 2 hives into one, and I may still have to do that in the future. However, when we conducted our inspection of the hives, we were pleasantly surprised to find both brood and the queen present in one of the hives. This discovery led us to make the decision to give it a few more weeks before proceeding with any merging actions. We want to ensure that the hives are strong and healthy before making any changes, as the well-being of the bees is our top priority. Observing the behavior of the bees and monitoring their growth over the next few weeks will provide us with valuable information that can guide our next steps.
